"When I first saw Lisa's art I was drawn to her interpretation and technique.  Her work stood out for me in its imaginative and playful use of color and form.  While I have not bought many original pieces, I was convinced that at least one of her pastels needed to be part of my home.  Prominently displayed, it has received many compliments from visitors, and I enjoy it every day as much as I did when I first saw it." Keith Gawlik, Denver, Colorado

"I only purchase art that speaks to me.  I love the journey promised in this piece." Lisa Heap, St. Louis, Missouri

Fur Baby Portraits Testimonials

"I have had the pleasure of knowing Lisa for many years now.

As a big milestone birthday was approaching for myself, I kept thinking of what I would like. Then I received some heart breaking news that one of my beloved and elderly pets had lymphoma. Due to his age and other medical issues we knew that treatment was not the right answer.

These two paths crossed and I remembered my dear friend Lisa was an amazing artist.

Before any more of my beloved pets passed across the rainbow bridge I wanted to get portraits of each of them.

I quickly sent her a message with what I was thinking and she was able to make my dreams come true.

Lisa is dedicated, experienced, compassionate, and talented.

Many emails were exchanged through out this process, from background color suggestions to final approval.

When it was finally time to receive all five portraits my mind was blown away. The final photos that Lisa had sent did not do them justice.

I will forever be grateful to Lisa for giving me these beautiful works of art. They will be treasured for many years to come."  Bonnie Sturch, St. Peters, Missouri

"Well I absolutely love the piece. It brings joy to me to have some way to be able to see him again. It exceeded my expectations by far. The quality is great. Fast and friendly customer service as well. I would highly recommend Lisa"  Caleb Flinn-Hylton, Taylorville, Illinois, Reese's Dad

"I had Lisa do a portrait of my daughter’s beloved dog, Zoe. Lisa was able to capture Zoe’s warmth and personality perfectly. I loved the creative background and colors. It was a gift that will last a lifetime and my daughter and her family love the portrait as much as I do. Thank you Lisa!"  Jeri Ryburn, Danvers, Illinois

"I surprised my son and his wife with a portrait of their fur baby (and rescue dog), Nash. I sent Lisa a couple photos and a description of her personality. She sent me photo updates every step of the way so I could see how the piece was created. Lisa created a portrait that truly reflected Nash’s personality. She captured Nash’s sweet expression PERFECTLY. It’s in her eyes! My son and his wife loved their gift. I highly recommend Lisa if you want a unique portrait of your fur baby."  Jennie Carder, Virginia Beach, Virginia

"Our kitty Little Bit was our soul mate kitty. He was so ill as a kitten that we didn’t know if he’d make it to adulthood. With much love and determination, Little Bit made it to 16 years old. Every single day, he showered us with gratefulness and affection. When we lost him in 2016, it felt like a part of our hearts when with him. About that time, I learned that Lisa also did pet portraits. I could not think of a more worthy subject than our Little Bit! When she presented us with his portrait, we cried together because we missed him so much, but also because we were remembering him and all the love and joy he gave us. Lisa was able to capture all of Little Bit’s spirit and personality! What a wonderful tribute!"
