This mixed media landscape painting has a bit of a story behind it.  I painted this piece for a local exhibit with the theme of our human footprint on the planet.  I thought about how so many things in our lives are disposable, and how that affects our Earth.  Even housing can be disposable.  "Out with the old, in with the new", as the saying goes.  So in the painting you see older homes being taken down the conveyor belt to be discarded and forgotten, as the "new" is ushered in.  I hand painted papers which were collaged onto the panel, after painting the sky and foreground in acrylic.  This painting is 18x24.
