"Waiting" is a mixed media landscape painting done with stencils and collage.  I had been wanting to do this painting for quite awhile, but needed time to get it together in my mind.  I love the exquisite mysterious feel of this piece, which has a darker palette than my usual.  I hand painted papers and the sky using stencils and mark making.  The papers were then collaged onto wood panel.  Where would you imagine this one of a kind beautiful piece in your home?  This painting is 20x16 on wrap around wood panel, ready to hang!
